Hamas urges concrete action to halt terrorist israel’s crimes in Gaza

Hamas says zionist forces of intensifying their attacks in Gaza, citing what it described as inaction by the US-led Board of Peace, weak mediation efforts and a lack of effective measures by Arab and Islamic countries to halt the violence.

Hamas accused Israeli forces of intensifying their military operations in Gaza, saying they were taking advantage of the US-led Board of Peace’s silence, weak mediation efforts and the failure of Arab and Islamic countries to take effective measures to halt what it called crimes.

In a statement Tuesday, Hamas spokesman Hazem Qassem urged all parties to move beyond rhetoric and take concrete steps to halt Israel’s actions in Gaza.

Spokesman Qassem warned that continued international silence is giving Israel the green light to intensify its offensive in Gaza and forcibly displace its population.

Israeli military strikes and attacks have continued across the Gaza Strip, killing civilians and damaging infrastructure, according to organizations including the Palestinian Center for Human Rights.

The Hamas spokesman earlier condemned remarks by Board of Peace envoy Nickolay Mladenov, who said Gaza remains a long way from beginning reconstruction efforts.

He said Mladenov’s remarks represented a clear departure from the Board’s mandate.
