Hamas Top Leader’s Son Martyred Following Israeli Airstrike
The son of Hamas leader Khalil al-Hayya succumbed to injuries on Thursday following an Israeli airstrike in the Gaza Strip.

The son of Hamas chief Khalil al-Hayya died Thursday of wounds sustained in an Israeli strike in the Gaza Strip.
An Anadolu correspondent reported that Azzam al-Hayya succumbed to critical injuries sustained during an airstrike targeting the Daraj neighborhood in eastern Gaza City on Wednesday evening.
On Wednesday, Hayya reported that his son had sustained serious injuries following an Israeli assault. He accused Israel of attempting to fulfill its objectives through methods of “pressure, killing, and terrorism.”
Footage from Gaza City captured scenes of mourners transporting the body of Azzam from Al-Shifa Hospital to the location of his burial.
According to reports from Palestinian sources, Azzam is reported to be the fourth son of Hayya to have been killed by Israeli forces.
