EXCLUSIVE: Ahrar al-Sham Senior so-called Commander Killed in Northwestern Syria

Unidentified gunmen killed Ali al-Shomali, a senior commander of Ahrar al-Sham terrorist group, in Idlib province, Northwestern Syria.
Al-Shomali was shot dead in Ma’ara al-Nauman region in Idlib province on Tuesday, FNA dispatches said.

Neither the Syrian army nor the rival terrorist groups have claimed responsibility for al-Shomali’s assassination yet.

The assassination attempt on al-Shomali came two days after another Syrian commander of Ahrar al-Sham named Abu Hamzeh al-Hariri was killed by the ISIL terrorists in the Syrian city of Houran.

Ahrar al-Sham terrorist group has pledged allegiance to the Al-Nusra Front.

The clashes between Al-Nusra Front and the ISIL have prompted 60,000 people to flee towns in some districts in Syria.

Reports suggest that hundreds of militants on both sides have so far been killed in the internecine clashes.

The ISIL Takfiri terrorists currently control shrinking swathes of Syria and Iraq. They have threatened all communities, including Shiites, Sunnis, Kurds, Christians, Ezadi Kurds and others, as they continue their atrocities in Iraq.

Senior Iraqi officials have blamed Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and some Persian Gulf Arab states for the growing terrorism in their country.

The ISIL has links with Saudi intelligence and is believed to be indirectly supported by the Israeli regime.
