Deir Ezzur: ISIL Arrests over 60 Members for Disobedience

65 ISIL fighters are now in the terrorist group’s detention centers in the Eastern city of Deir Ezzur after they disobeyed military orders, local sources disclosed on Saturday.
“Tens of ISIL fighters did not obey the orders of their commanders to join their comrades in Deir Ezzur airport due to the heavy fire of the Syrian army in the region,” the sources said, adding, “ISIL security forces arrested 65 disobeying members in an attempt to control the situation and other members.”

“In the meantime, ISIL arrested Atvan al-Abd al-Homsh, Mohammad al-Hajji al-Doweineh and Abdullah al-Tayeh allegedly for involvement in illegal sexual relationships, while informed sources said they have been captured for their links to the assassination of Abu al-Bara’a, one of the group’s Saudi leaders,” the sources said.

“The ISIL has intensified security measures in areas under its control in Deir Ezzur,” the sources said.

Also on Thursday, 17 ISIL terrorists were killed and several others were wounded in the Syrian fighter jets and army attacks on their positions in Deir Ezzur.

A command center, a rocket Launchpad, an anti-tank base and three vehicles were destroyed in the air and artillery strikes of the Syrian army on their positions in Tallet Kroum, al-Rushdiyeh, al-Jafra and al-Huweiqa villages as well as the Eastern parts of Deir Ezzur airport.

The attacks also killed 17 members of the ISIL terrorist group in Deir Ezzur.
