Syrian Army to End Mleiha Battle Soon, Chases Gunmen in Homs, Idlib

army-300x181The last chapter of the eliminating terrorism is being underwent in Mleiha town in the eastern Ghota of Damascus countryside, a field commander told SANA news agency on Thursday.
“Four days ago, and following extensive operations, army units seized control over the main road linking Jesrin to Mleiha, which represents the terrorists’ main supply route in Mleiha.
The Syrian army killed dozens of Nusra terrorists in Rankous, in Qalamoun, preventing them from controlling the town.
In the meantime, units of the armed forces carried out successful operations against the terrorists’ hideouts and gatherings across the country, inflicting heavy losses upon the terrorists.
In Homs countryside, a military source told SANA that army units targeted the terrorists’ gatherings and hideouts in Um Sharshouh , al-Ghajar, al-Rastan, Ein Hussein, al-Amiriyeh , Kisin, Burj Qa’e, Sahrij village, Jarad , al-Sultaniyeh and Sallam Gharbi, killing and injuring a number of terrorists and destroying their weaponry.
However, seven people were killed and 25 others were injured including chilren and women when terrorists blew up a car bomb Thursday in Wadi al-Dahab neighborhood in Homs.
In Hama, the source pointed out that army units killed a number of terrorists in al-Hanitah, al-Haqqiyeh, Rasem al-Ablah and Arshouneh, in the eastern countryside of Hama.
In Aleppo, army units killed and injured a number of terrorists and destroyed their weaponry in several areas in the city.
A military source told SANA that the army units also destroyed cars with all the terrorists inside them in the villages of Enjarah, Kfar Naha, Khan al-Assal and Haritan in the countryside.
In Idlib countryside, army units destroyed armed terrorist groups’ hideout to the north west of Maarat Misrin and eliminated a number of terrorists, most non-Syrians.
Army units destroyed 3 cars equipped with heavy machinegun on Tal Minnegh-al-Maara road with all the terrorists inside them.
