The Syrian army regained control of Htaitat al-Jarsh town in eastern Gouta in Damascus.
Military sources reported that the control followed fierce clashes between the Syrian army and terrorist groups.
The Syrian army also advanced in Jobar neighborhood un Damascus, tightening the grip on the militants.
SANA reported that army units targeted gatherings of terrorists in Mas’hara, Tal Mas’hara, Rasm Khmeis and al-Sabrouki in the countryside of the northern province of Quneitra, leaving numbers of them dead and wounded.
The Syrian army also targeted ISIL strongholds in Raqqa and Deir Ezour, eliminating a number of terrorists, including commanders.
