Syrian Army Pushing Back Rebels in Dara’a Province

The Syrian Army’s fresh operations across the Southern province of Dara’a have forced the rebel groups to retreat from parts of their positions, military sources announced.

The Syrian army targeted the militants’ armored vehicle and rocket launchers in the nearby areas of al-Naema in Dara’a countryside, the sources said.

The sources added that the army troops also stormed the Takfiri terrorists’ strongholds in the Western side of al-Bajabja neighborhood in Dara’a al-Balad, and killed or wounded several fighters.

The Nusra fighters’ gathering centers in Naseeb were massively raided by the Syrian army men, who pushed the rebels back and took their positions.

Also on Saturday, the country’s army troops continued offensives against the rebel groups, and gained more grounds across Dara’a province.

The sources said that Mhajjeh village in the Northern part of Dara’a province was the scene of heavy clashes between the Syrian army men and Nusra fighters, who did not able to resist against the Syrian soldiers’ attacks and left behind dozens of the killed and wounded bodies and fled the fighting area.

The situation in the South of Tal Antar was the same and the army pushed back the Nusra fighter from their position.

The army also targeted gatherings of terrorists of al-Nusra and the so-called “Al-Muthana Movement” in Kafr Shams town in Northwestern Dara’a, leaving numbers of them killed or injured.

The army units destroyed terrorists’ hideouts in Kafr Nasej, 7 Km to the Northwest of Dara’a city.

The Syrian air force targeted an arms and ammunition depot of Nusra Front in Ibta and Tafas.
