Syrian Army on the verge of liberating all of Hajar Al-Aswad from ISIS

 

The Syrian Arab Army (SAA), alongside their Palestinian allies, continued their advance in the strategic town of Hajar Al-Aswad, today, liberating several buildings in ISIS stronghold.

Led by the Republican Guard, the Syrian Arab Army scored a new advance in northern Hajar Al-Aswad after breaking through the ISIS’ lines this afternoon.

According to a military source in Damascus, the Syrian Army and their Palestinian allies liberated over ten buildings inside Hajar Al-Aswad, giving them control of more than 85 percent of the town.

In addition to their advance in Hajar Al-Aswad, the Syrian Army and their Palestinian allies advanced inside the northwestern corridor of the Yarmouk Camp District.

The Syrian Army managed to liberate three building blocks in northwestern Yarmouk, despite heavy resistance from ISIS.
