Syrian Army Engages in Fierce Clashes with Al-Nusra Terrorists in Quneitra

Syrian soldiers, in a fresh round of attacks, targeted the gatherings of the al-Qaeda-affiliated al-Nusra Front in and outside the Southwestern city of Quneitra, slowing down the militants’ logistical movements in the region.
Syrian army men targeted an al-Nusra’s military vehicles carrying arms and ammunition near the main square Quneitra city.

Meanwhile, the army and popular forces hits al-Nusra’s sites in the villages of al-Samadaniyeh al-Gharbiyeh and Toloul al-Homr near the village of Hader, which left scores of the militants dead or wounded.

Also, the army destroyed a vehicle carrying several terrorists and their ammunition on a road between the village of Kafr Hour and Beit Jen Farm near the province’s border with Damascus.

In relevant developments in the province on Friday, Syrian Army troops and National Defense Forces repelled terrorist groups’ offensive in the Northeastern countryside of Quneitra city, inflicting major losses on the terrorists.

The Syrian soldier and the Golan regiment of NDF fended off attacks of the terrorist groups on government forces’ strongholds Northwest of the town of Khan Arnabeh and Oufaniya, which ended in the killing or wounding of several militants and destruction of their military hardware in large scale.
