Jeish al-Islam terrorists arrested one of the commanders of Fajr al-Ummah Brigade in Eastern Ghouta in Damascus province, leading the militant-held town towards an imminent heavy infighting, local sources said Friday.

“Jeish al-Islam security forces seized a notorious field commander of Fajr al-Ummah brigade, who entered the town of Mesraba to visit his family members,” the sources said, adding, “Serious arguments and infighting have been reported in different parts of the town.”

In August, terrorist groups of Faylaq al-Rahman and Fatah al-Sham Front (the newly formed al-Qaeda-affiliated terrorist group previously known as al-Nusra Front) both supported by Qatar engaged in heavy fighting in the Eastern part of Damascus province.

Tens of terrorists of the Faylaq al-Rahman and Fatah al-Sham Front were killed in a tough battle in Eastern Ghouta in Damascus countryside.

The battle intensified between the two sides after the terrorists of Arabeen Army pounded the military positions of Faylaq al-Rahman in Arabeen region.
