“Sunni scholars target for Takfiri groups”

Hujjat-ul-Islam Ahmad Kosari, educational deputy of Dar-al A’alam Institute in the holy city of Qom, in an interview with Taqrib News Agency (TNA) noted that Takfiri groups excommunicate both Shia and Sunni under the title of apostasy.

In this interview carried out on the sideline of the conference on Takfiri movements and their repercussions held in the Iranian northern city of Gorgan, Iranian cleric criticized followers of Takfiri groups reject Sunni Imams and references in their social networks recognizing no one but themselves as true Muslims.

Hujjat-ul-Islam Kosari noted that Sunni victims killed by Takfiri groups exceed those of Shia victims and that Takfiri groups kill anyone opposing their vain beliefs.

“Dark crimes committed by Takfiri groups in the Islamic countries have defamed all Muslims because these terrorists take heinous measures under the name of Islam” said the cleric and added,” According to western authorities, Takfiri groups have been launched by them and a groups of their regional supporters with the aim of undermining the popularity and power of Islam.”

He referred to the heavy burden of Muslim thinkers against Takfiri movements and praised the brevity and resistance of clerics against extremist groups.

Iranian cleric demanded Muslim scholars to prevent infiltration of enemies in the Islamic countries and encourage all Muslims to defend their lands.
