Several Terrorist Command Posts in Deir Ezzur Devastated in Syrian Airstrikes

The Syrian Air Force carried out several combat sorties over ISIL’s defense line South of Deir Ezzur city, destroying three command posts of the terrorists and inflicting heavy casualties on them.

The army aircraft pounded ISIL’s positions in al-Mariqiyeh region East of Deir Ezzur airbase, destroying three command posts and killing or wounding a number of terrorists.

In the meantime, the warplanes bombed heavily ISIL’s positions near al-Thardah crossroad South of al-Maqaber (cemetery) region, destroying seven military vehicles and killing their crew.

Also, the army tanks fired at the positions of a group of ISIL in areas surrounding of Tamin Brigade base, killing six militants.

In relevant developments in the Eastern province on Tuesday, ISIL went on alert after nearly a dozen members of the terrorist group were killed by unknown assailants inside their positions in Eastern Syria.

A number of unknown raiders attacked a position of ISIL in al-Salehiyeh region in the suburban area of Albu Kamal region in Eastern Deir Ezzur, the Arabic-language al-Watan newspaper reported.

The newspaper said that 11 ISIL terrorists, including their senior services commander Abu Maryam al-Shami, were killed in the city of Mayadeen in the attack by the rival group.

The incident came as assassination of ISIL terrorists in Deir Ezzur was intensified. Only a few days ago several people fired at ISIL terrorists in al-Shaitat region and torched their tires.
