Popular Uprising against SDF Terrorists Reported again in Northeastern Syria

Tens of people in Western Raqqa demonstrated on Tuesday to show their protest against the rule of the Kurdish militias, calling for their expulsion from their region.

Tens of residents in the village of al-Jarniyeh in Western Raqqa took to the main street in the village and protested against the Kurdish militias’ forced recruitment and brutal measures.

In the meantime, a number young people were arrested by the Kurds in Hasaka city under a forced recruitment plan.

Local sources in Raqqa reported earlier this month that tens of civilians residing in Central Raqqa were attacked by the Kurdish forces after staging protest rallies against the US military presence in the region.

They underlined heightened tensions between Raqqa residents and the Kurdish forces, noting that 7 civilians were arrested during the rallies.

Meantime, reports said that a number of Kurdish officials and commanders were killed amid intensified popular uprising in Raqqa.

Also reports from Hasaka province said that one of the Kurdish forces was killed by unknown assailants in the village of Tal Jamal near Qamishli.
