Over 30 Takfiri Terrorists, Commanders Killed in Khan Al-Sheikh Area

The Syrian army pounded and destroyed the military positions of terrorists group in the town of Khan al-Sheikh in the Western part of Damascus, killing 30 militants and their commanders.

The attacks were launched after al-Salam highway which links Damascus to Quneitra province was freed by the Syrian army and its allies.

Also in another development in the Eastern Ghouta region near the Syrian capital city, the army troops advanced 250 meters to the Southeastern parts of Katibah.

They also seized back several blocks on the way towards Khan al-Sheikh’s pharmaceutical plant.

Military sources said that the army is still crushing the al-Nusra Front terrorists’ lines in al-Salam highway and Khan al-Sheikh in Western Ghouta.

Also the Syrian fighter jets are pounding the terrorists’ gathering centers in Khan al-Sheikh farms in the outskirts of Damascus city, they added.

The Syrian army restored full security to the strategic highway of al-Salam in Western Ghouta on Tuesday.

The Western Ghouta in Damascus countryside was the scene of heavy clashes between the Syrian army backed by the air force and the Takfiri terrorists as army managed to bring back full security to al-Salam highway.

The Syrian army destroyed the Takfiri terrorists’ military positions and strategic tunnels in Eastern Ghouta.

Battlefield sources said the Syrian army took the initiative and in a series of counterattacks on al-Nusra Front’s military positions managed to move towards Khan al-Sheikh farms and seized control of several areas and restore security to al-Salam highway.

Meantime, the army units annihilated the terrorists’ tunnels in Deir al-Assafir and Zobdeen in Eastern Ghouta.
