Chief of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces Major General Mohammad Hossein Baqeri underlined that his country is in possession of missiles which can hit and destroy enemy targets with a margin error of less than 10 meters.

“Missiles with the capability to hit targets with a margin of error of less than 10 meters are one of the weapons owned by just a few countries,” General Baqeri said in the Southern province of Khuzestan on Saturday.

“Today, the Islamic Republic of Iran enjoys the capability to produce and use such weapons,” he added.

The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Ground Force fired several smart rockets with pin-point precision striking capability to start massive wargames in the Central deserts of Iran late in February.

The IRGC forces targeted simulated enemy targets with smart and advanced rockets with pin-point precision striking capability on the first day of the wargames.

Also, IRGC Lieutenant Commander Brigadier General Hossein Salami announced last month that Iran is in possession of precision-striking ballistic missiles which can target warships and other vessels on the move.

“(Iran’s) Achievement of the technology to build such missiles is an astonishing phenomenon and we don’t have any information showing that the US or Russia have been able to manufacture ballistic missiles which can target mobile vessels in the sea with a 100% precision,” General Salami said, addressing a forum in Tehran.
