ISIL commander believed to be behind the killing of a Lebanese police officer earlier this year was found dead in the northeastern border town of Arsal Sunday morning.

The corpse of the Syrian militant, known as Abu Bakr al-Raqqawi, was found on the outskirts of Arsal in Wadi Aata, the National News Agency reported on Sunday.

The dead terrorist was responsible for the murder of Internal Security Forces soldier Zaher Ezzedine. Raqqawi ordered the slaughter of Ezzedine in the town’s square in front of his own family.
