Iran’s envoy hails role of Maj. General Soleimani in liberation of Mosul

Taqrib News Agency (TNA) – Wrote in a note appeared on his Instagram account on the occasion of full liberation of Mosul from Daesh terrorist group, Iran’s ambassador, Baeidi Nejad lauded the telling role of Major General Qassem Soleimani in liberation of the historical city of Mosul from the control of Daesh terrorist group.

Part of his released message goes, “today’s triumph in Iraq and Syria against the terrorist group of Daesh are resulted from General Qasem Soleimani’s commandership and decisive role.”

“Undoubtedly the biggest military strategist across the globe, General Soleimani proved his innovations and novel military methods,” stressed the political commentator.

Holding General Soleimani’s role in the liberation of Mosul as “definitely unrivaled,” Baeidinejad pointed out the city’s liberation was “by far and away the biggest defeat can be counted for Daesh in the past three years as well as a huge inroad made in the war”.

“When he entered the war at the request of Iraq’s military advisors, Daesh was 60 km away from Baghdad,” underscored Baeidinejad noting, “within the range of Daesh fire, Samarra, Kazemein and its periphery were unsafe.”

“Also in Syria,” Baeidinejad added, “Daesh had completed occupation of many areas, including almost all big cities and presence of [Syrian] forces around cities has changed them into permanent targets for military attacks.”

Elsewhere in his note, Iran’s Envoy to U.S stressed, “After three years of war on terrorism in Iraq and Syria, in the here and now the political geography of the region has changed and Daesh is on its way to failure”.

“Via his creativity and innovative strategies, General Soleimani changed the course of war in a way that today we are witnessed to great triumph in Syria and Iraq,” pointed out the political face.
The recapture of Mosul, located some 400 kilometers (250 miles) north of the capital, Baghdad, would mark the effective end of Daesh in the Arab country.
