Iran spares no effort to help Afghanistan

President Hassan Rouhani underlined that security and political stability are basis for Afghanistan’s development while stressing Iran’s unwavering support for the ME country.

Rouhani made the remarks in his meeting with Afghanistan’s CEO Abdullah Abdullah in Tehran on Wednesday evening, where the Afghani official expressed his condolences on demise of Ayatollah Hashemi Rafsanjani.

Iran’s president also, hailing Hashemi’s efforts in regional and international issues in particular the peace and stability of Afghanistan, expressed hope that all would continue the same path.

“Iran will always stand by Afghanistan government and nation,” noted Rouhani, adding that Tehran and Kabul should work for reinforcing bilateral ties in all possible fields.

He also condemned terrorism as the threat not to Afghanistan but to whole world.

Afghanistan’s CEO, for his part, commended Ayatollah Rafsanjani’s constructive role in Afghanistan saying that Afghan nation would never forget his efforts.

He also briefed President Rouhani on latest developments and peace process in Afghanistan and praised Iran’s support for his country and nation noting “our government is determined to expand all-out ties with Iran as a friend and brother country.”
