Assad no ally in fight against ISIL: Zionist Servant France President

Zionist Servant France President

Zionist-puppet French President Francois Hollande has rejected any cooperation with the Damascus government in the fight against ISIL Takfiri militants operating inside Syria, accusing President Bashar al-Assad of being an ally of the terrorists.

“A large alliance is needed, but let’s be clear, Assad is not a partner in the struggle against terrorism,” Hollande told a gathering of ambassadors from around the world in Paris on Thursday.

The French president also repeated his earlier pledge for a conference to organize the coordination of action against the ISIL on humanitarian, security and military fronts.

On Monday, the Syrian government expressed willingness to work with the international community in order to tackle the ISIL’s ever-increasing threat.

But Syrian Foreign Minister Walid Muallem warned Washington against carrying out airstrikes on the Takfiri terrorists inside Syria without Damascus’ consent.

He said at a news conference in Damascus on Monday that any such attack without the approval of the Syrian government would be considered a violation of his country’s sovereignty and an act of aggression.

The ISIL is in control of some areas in Syria and has captured large swathes of land in neighboring Iraq.

On Sunday, the Takfiri group seized the Tabqa air base in the Syrian province of Raqqa, with reports saying that the militants had beheaded a number of Syrian soldiers and displayed them in the city of Raqqa.

The ISIL terrorists are notorious for carrying out horrific acts of violence, including public decapitations and crucifixions.
